What enhancements have people realized with Wimba 5.2?

I have noticed that the quality difference between loading a PPT presentation "On the Fly" as a presenter versus converting to png graphics and loading as the Room Admin is not as great. That is a good thing - loading "on the fly" is so much quicker and easier. In the past we have converted all slides to png and uploaded in Room Admin to improve quality. It doesn't look like this is necessary anymore.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've noticed better quality as well. For some reason, I had trouble with png files in the old version (they would open as separate windows instead of in the content frame).

I used the new promote someone to presenter on the fly feature recently during a practice session with one of our webinar presenters who had logged in as a participant and it worked like a dream. One click and he was promoted to presenter!

I haven't tried downloading the mp3 file of archives. Anyone try this yet?

Hi Dawne - I want to make sure I'm reading this right - you've noticed that loading slides on the fly from the presenter interface (versus the administrator interface) provides a cleaner image during your session? I will have to go try this! If I'm reading this correctly, this IS happy news! emoticon
